Bathroom knockthrough - a real team efffort

Eileen wanted a bath as sanctuary for herself and a wetshower area for her boys. 'You should see it at night!' she said. We are committed but draw the line at night visits!

Like many houses built in the 1930s the bathroom and toilet are seperate (top left), with a hot water tank taking up valuable space.

Alan installed a modern efficient combi boiler and new rads. Everyone loves chrome towel warmers - although generally size for size they don't give out as much heat as a white enamel rad - we can calculate what size you need and supply it with chrome valves and fittings (bottom right)

We started by ripping out the outdated bathroom & toilet, then knocking down the joining wall (top middle).Mike made good the walls and ceiling with boards and plaster, Nick relaid the pipework ready for the new suite (top right).
